PEELS AND RESURFACER TREATMENTs IN TEDDINGTON
CONSIDERING A SKIN PEEL OR RESURFACING TREATMENT?
Chemical peels and skin resurfacers are advanced treatments designed to improve skin tone, texture and overall skin health. Whether you’re concerned about acne, pigmentation, fine lines or dull skin, our experienced therapists will recommend the most suitable peel for your skin during a complimentary consultation.

What Are Skin Peels & Resurfacers?
Conditions We Treat With Skin Peels & Resurfacers
Your therapist will recommend the most suitable peel or resurfacer based on your skin concerns, goals and skin type.
What To Expect From Skin Peels & Resurfacers Treatment
01
Assessment
Every skin is different, which is why every peel begins with a thorough consultation.
Your therapist will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and recommend the most appropriate peel or resurfacer for your skin type, lifestyle and desired results. We will also advise you on preparation, aftercare and any skincare products that will help you achieve the best possible outcome.
02
Treatment
After cleansing your skin, your therapist will apply the selected peel or resurfacer for a carefully controlled period of time. You may experience a mild tingling or warming sensation, which is completely normal.
The treatment is then neutralised or removed where appropriate before soothing, hydrating products and SPF are applied. Most appointments take around 30 to 45 minutes.
03
Results
Many clients notice brighter, smoother skin after just one treatment, although a course of treatments is often recommended for concerns such as acne, pigmentation or signs of ageing.
Depending on the peel selected, you may experience slight redness, dryness or light peeling over the following few days. Your therapist will explain exactly what to expect and provide personalised aftercare advice.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most clients experience only a mild tingling or warming sensation during treatment. Stronger peels may feel more active, but discomfort is generally minimal and short-lived.
Not always. Some resurfacers produce little or no visible peeling, while deeper peels may cause light flaking for several days. Visible peeling is not necessary for the treatment to be effective.
This depends on your skin concerns. Some clients see excellent results after a single treatment, while concerns such as acne, pigmentation or sun damage usually benefit from a course of treatments.
Many peels are suitable for a wide range of skin types, but the correct treatment should always be chosen following a professional skin consultation.
Is This Treatment Right For Me?
If you’re concerned about deeper acne scarring, more advanced sun damage or pronounced signs of ageing, fractional laser resurfacing may be a more suitable treatment than a skin peel.
